    how can I make DVDRebuilder (which calls CCE) to not display output-windows on top of my other program windows while it is encoding ?

    (I tried finding if there was a similar question on the forum but didn't find any)

    settings>set-up check run encoders minimized!

    it's on the same page that you define your paths to different encoders!

    thanks but I had allready tried that and I still get the m2v encoding windows.

    does anyone know how to make those stay minimized or disappear ?

    unselect and then reselect,
    open your inf. file and make sure there is a line that reads

    "EncoderMinimized=1" (without the parentasis)
    in the option's section!
    have you been tinkering with the config file?

    if the setting is not there then copy paste what is between the parenthesis into it! this should work!

    though the option EncoderMinimized=1 is present in the dvd-rebuilder ini-file I still get cinema craft encoder encoding windows

    could it have to do with that I use CCE Basic 2.70.01.07 (registered) instead of other CCE versions ?

    as this version was just released the 2nd of dec
    It may not follow the rules try experimenting w/ different path's/settings and see if older version if you have one gives you the same result?

    I didn't see anything in the changelog addressing this certain issue but there is two newer version's you may try!

    Unfortunately there isn't a lot that DVD-RB can do about the "Encoding Dialog" popping up during encodes. Even when CCE has been directed by the operating system to run minimized it still displays it. I'll see if I can find a way to force it minimized... but it really needs to be corrected by Cinemacraft.

    Just to add mine also does this, CCE Basic will not run minimized although it is checked and the Option reads correctly. CCE 2.67 will however run minimized.

    @jdobbs:

    I appreciate it very much that you THE maker of dvd-rebuilder took the time to answer my question. I also thought that the problem lied within CCE and not in DVD-Rebuilder and indeed Cinemacraft should have fixed this small but irritant behaviour earlier on in the development of their GUI.
    I appreciate it very much that you want to try make DVD-Rebuilder force to minimize the CCE windows.

    @ arniebear:

    Indeed I found out that CCE Basic 2.66 and 2.67 together with ECLCCE can make CCE minimize but the problem is that I couldn't find these older CCE Basic versions anywhere anymore.

    arniebear,

    mine also does the same as yours. cce basic and cce sp 2.70 will not run minimized but cce sp 2.67 will.

    Very strange, I wonder what the difference between the ver. of CCE that makes this happen.

    mort & arnie have you tried to run your 2.70 versions through eclcce you have the app ;)

    I guess I never noticed as I alway's view the encode process!
    even w/ the new 920 I do not multi task(except for testing) while encoding, so I have nothing better to do w/ pc than check on the encode, alway's liked to know what speed and bitrate I was dealing with!

    I tried that out, but ECLCCE says the CCE version is too new and it doesn't accept it :(
