i am using uTorrent and have a linksys WRT54G. i have forwarded ports and installed a custom firmware (HYperWRT) and a custom start up script. This fixes the large problem with this router when it would crash. Everything so far is good. i tend ot get very slow speeds while downloading torrents. Mainly how mnay connections should i have per torrent. 100? 200? 1000?. my computer is a pentium 4 1.7 ghz with 256 mb of ram and windows xp. i am trying to scoop up some invites to better torrent sites like torrentbytes and torrentleech aswell. maybe the fact that i basically use piratebay is my main problem. i find piratebay is very very slow. if you guys could refer me to any fast torrent sites that would help.
I also use utorrent. I set my connections per torrent at 175 and I get great speeds. u should also set this according to ur internet connection, how fast is urs? As for a private site, PM me ur email and I'll send u an invite for demonoid ;-D
um thanks, yes utorrent is much better than azereus. i prefer utorrent cause it doesnt bog down my pc. i have a 6mb down and 1 mb up connection. i am already a member on demonoid. what other FAST private trackers are there. from what i hear torrentbytes and torrentleech are great. thanks cbrooks.
ps22man I use azereus my upload will be faster then my download I have it set too 30.I will try uTorrent.I like torrent leech too.Any tips
