how many f connecters

how many f connecters can you put on one cable line....i have cable coming in with an f connector on it one end to star view box the other upstairs to modem...can i put another f connector in line to put another starview in kids room...will this effect the picture or the broadband thanks for any replys i get

 

yes mate you can do that.

This is my set up.

Downstairs - str8 from the wall into the dbox2.

Upstairs - From the little room i split it into 2.
end 1 - goes up into the attick.
end 2 - goes into my uncles room into a dbox2.

Attick - From the wire i have split it into 2.
end 1 - modem for the internet.
end 2 - into my eurovox max v black.

thanks i will give it a go ...i guess it does not matter where you split it as long as you use good quality connectors

 

tbh mate the connectors i use r the cheap ones u get from your local electronic shop.

i think i paid around 80p an end, the F connector for the boxes however came with the boxes. The cable wire i had to buy and splitter where also cheap.

but you may have a better understanding when it comes to electronics etc. i just pay for the cheapo stuff haha let me know how you get on pal
