Currently I have an ATI Radeon X1950XT, and I was wondering how much better the Asus ATI Radeon HD4870 is comparing both specs, would it be worth the extra money to upgrade to this card. Would I see a drastic increase in gameplay if I were to play games like crysis, etc?
The HD4870 is approximately four times as powerful as the Radeon X1950XT - the X1950XT can run Crysis at 1024x768 medium settings and be playable, the HD4870 can do it at 1920x1200 on high - the latter is confirmed, because I've done it with mine.
