Can anyone or a mod post the number of posts needed for every level (Junior Member, Member, Senior Member, Afterdawn Addict...)?

    Thanks,
    BTFan

Newbie to Junior Member -- 25 posts
Junior Member to Member -- 100 posts
Member to Senior Member -- 500 posts
Senior Member to Addict -- 2500 posts
anyone to Moderator -- determination and bribes to admins
anyone to Admin -- decent six-figure (euros or dollars, we are not picky) lump sum to AfterDawn's Swiss bank account

posts in the safety valve don't count towards rank, either.

there's accidental and deliberate double posting. Accidental double posts are where a thread has 2 or more of the same exact reply showing up consecutively in a thread bearing the same time on the reply.
There's a new feature that's hopefully now solved accidental double posting - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/541804

Deliberate double posting is called multiposting, the bane of any forum anywhere, where people have this bizarre mindset that if they post the same question in loads of different forums/threads, that they get a quicker answer. This of course is rubbish, all that does is clog up the forums/threads but more importantly it clogs up the people that answer the threads, hence they don't get a quicker reply, they more than likely get loads of replies which they probably don't understand anyway.

It's where you post the same thing twice. Either the server messes up and repeats the request resulting in a double post, or someone posts twice "by accident" to bump up their post count.. >:-(

    ...anyone who would double post.

It is clearly against the rules.

the rank update hasn't been run yet. and i'm willing to bet you've posted in All Other Topics and the Safety Valve.

you're not a newbie, so you have no posting restrictions. rank has no meaning anymore.

I only posted in the PSP section, you can search my name and you'll see. I never used All Other Topics and I don't even know what Safety Valve is.

Are you crazy? 50$?!? It's against forum rules to advertise or sell.
