How much will you spend when buying your ps3?

Damn, nothing good till March... guess i might as well wait till then with buying it.

 

Oh yeah i knew it was canadian :').

Feind come on resistance? COD3? Heavenly Sowrd? Half Life2? maybe killzone will be b4 march. None of these?

 

i'll end up spending a couple thousand,o nly because im buying 3 ps3s and selling two on ebay. i plan on taking the money made off the other ps3s and using that to pay for the games that i'll get. depending on how well the auctions go, i'll probably get about four or so games to start.

i really hope EA doesn't screw up madden for the ps3 like they did with the 360. well they didnt really screw it up, but it was a sorry excuse for a madden title IMO. the system launches just before thanksgiving and we usually have some tourneys and such for the big day. should be some fun, just hope EA can get the game out before thanksgiving.

 

I'll add on to that list. (These may not be released with the ps3 at the launch but are all launched in november) Smackdown vs raw 2007, nhl 2k7, vision gran turismo, madden NFL 07, Medal of Honour: Airborne , killzone, rainbow 6 vegas, all of what xyqo , and afew more all coming out in November most of which are released nov 30.


Although a lot of good games are coming out in March like metal gear solid, Assassin's Creed, and more.

Resistance... well, do we honestly need ANOTHER new 1st person shooter franchise ?
And if i want to play half life 2 i'll do so on my PC or my xbox, thank you very much.
As for Killzone 2, i won't even buy it untill i am 100% sure that they replaced the targeting system for the sniper rifle, cause the way it worked on the PS2 pissed me off so much that i went back to the game store and exchanged Killzone for a copy of Socom 2.
I'm sure my brother will get COD3 for his 360, and as for Heavenly Sword... Well let's just say i could care less...

And before anyone calls me a 360 fanboy, i'll have you know i didn't bother buying one because of the extremely limited number of games that i found interesting.

im aiming around saving 850-900 dollars. ill get a second controller and 2 games, bringing the total to an estimated $800. the 50-100 other dollars covers tax, estimation error, and maybe something else i'd want.

I seriously hope i wont have to be spening more than $900. I dont think i'll even have more than that to spend seeing that i have my travelling expences to cover as well in November

face, i wouldn't use bestbuy as your source of info until things are confirmed. most times sites like that give guestimates (at best) when they believe games will release.
