Hi, i was played my 360 a few hours ago, and it froze. It's the second time its happened, but the first time i just took it back to GAME cause it'd only been about 9 months. this console is about 13 months old. I'm started a repair request, but the problem is, my warranty sticker has a little silver missing, as i (like a freaking idiot)messed with it a few months ago. What do you think are my chances of it being repaired? I didn't actually open the console.
might be ok, i sent one off and it got returned , because the holes at the back had been damaged, the ones you put tool in to open console,it had silver sticker on it untouched but they still sent it back unrepaired saying it had been tampered with
oh, really? that sucks, i'd have thought they care more about the sticker. I guess i'll have to try the X clmap fix, cause i think my GPUs come loose. (code 0103) my mate did it to his and its fine now. We'll see how the towel trick goes
It can't hurt to try and send it in. You'd be w/out it for about 3 weeks. if i were you i would at least try to send it in. could also try to get a new sticker off ebay.
