Hi! I've got a DVD which only comes with English subtitles. I've found a subtitle file in another language (in .SRT format) which I'd like to add to the DVD as a [bold]selectable[/bold] subtitle. Sorry if this has been covered somewhere before in these forums, but I've searched for "subtitle srt dvd", and as far as I can see; the threads I've found (like this one: http://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/153058.php) seem to cover [bold]hardcoding[/bold] a subtitle file into a video file. Which is not what I'm after. So, in conclusion: Is it possible to include a .SRT subtitle file (or convert it into another format that can be included) on a DVD as a selectable (optional) subtitle? If so, which programs do I need?
Sure, you can do it! Here is a good guide that can take you through adding whatever subs you want. http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=135193
