Ultra newbie here; please forgive my ignorance. My RAZR V3 is tethered (USB cable) to my laptop (running xp, sp 2). Mobile Phone Tools and P2KMan are installed and working fine -- i.e., both recognize the phone; have added a couple of ringtones and set up email on MPT; have NOT downloaded anything on P2KMAN). Question: If I download all my files (viz., a/mobile/...) using P2KMAN, am I downloading COPIES of those files, or am I actually taking the files OFF the phone? In other words, if I want to keep an updated copy of all my V3 files on my laptop, how do I download them without hurting my phone? Cautious and Uninformed, wdd
