Hi I want to backup a DVD-9 dual layer original movie that is 2 hours and 45 minutes long. I want to put it onto a DVD+R. I have these software titles on my computer: DVD Decrypter, DVD Santa, Nero 7 Full version( with Recode, and Vision 4.0) DVD Shrink, Auto GK, Cucusoft Mpeg to DVD. Can anyone pls provide me with a simple workflow to produce the highest quality backup to DVD+R. Can I do it with my existing software or is there additional software I need? Pls provide details...thanks for your help!

Depends on what movie you want to back up, you might have all the software you need. it would not hurt to download DVDFab Decrypter, as it is more up to date on decryption(is free, and VERY easy to use)

After you copied the DVD on your HDD, you can use Nero Recode

    or, DVD Shrink

http://www.mrbass.org/dvdshrink/ to transcode the files and make them fit onto a DVD+R.
After that, you can just use Nero Burning Rom, DVD Santa,Decrypter or whatever you wish to burn with...
    Good luck.
