First off, let me say thank you to all, for the info I have found to be invaluable on this forum. I have now burned 2 dvd's using Dvd Shrink & Encrypter, so I seem to have followed this boards guidance successfully.

I previously used X Copy Platinum with no luck and several other 1 click programs with limited success.

I now find myself questioning the Fujifilm 2.4x-4x media I'm using as the reason that the +rw discs I create will not play in 2 of my dvd players. One is a 99' Phillips the other is a 01 Panasonic rp-56. The burned disc plays excellent in an unmodified Xbox & 03 AMX player and of course my pc.

I have searched this board and have found varying reasons for my problem i.e; write speeds, quality of the media, etc. and just plain ole incompatability of the "older players".

However, thru this board I found a link, www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers, which listed DVD players and compatable dvd media. I found others using the same 01' panasonic rp-56 dvd player with the fujifilm +rw media very sucessfully.

So with the discovery of others being successful with the same +rw media and player, I'm trying to figure out what else I need to consider (aside from buying newer dvd players) to make my next burn work in these other dvd players. Any suggestions?

try using a +R disc and not +RW and see if it works.
