I'm trying to play a PC game, but I haven't been able to load it. It's fully installed and I've checked that my system can handle the game. The problem is, I cannot start it without the CD. I've tried to "mount" the iso to Daemon Tools, but an error message still pops up to tell me "Please remove disc from current CD/DVD drive amd insert the original disc in another drive E:." Is it possible to mount an image to get it to work? Or do I have to burn the image to a CD and get it to work from there?
I think the problem is that you need a crack of the game. You have to know that you cant play games downloaded from the internet (illegal copies) without using a crack. So.... Search the crack of the game (.exe file), install the game, replace the original .exe-file by the cracked one and you are ready to play. p.s. Download a no-cd Crack so you can play without mounting the game. I hope this helped..
Oh shoot. I almost forgot about this thread. I already had the crack and everything. Then I messed around with the file for a bit and it worked. Thanks anyway, though!! --Problem Solved--
Can you guys give me a downloading before I'll be able to actually use the stuff, but can you gimme the way to do it? I'm new. The game is Age of Mythology, on a Windows XP. I have twice the stuff for all the requirements (lol, not really, but you know what I mean) on my PC. I have three ISO images so far, but I don't know what's in the yet because I've only downloaded a third of the way. I'm using BitTorrent to download them, and my PC has a built-in burning program, so I've never used a burning program yet. Is there one I should download? Alcohol 120? Nero? DVD-Extracter or whatever it's called? Any help would be hugely appreciated.
I'm not quite sure to the exact point of what your message exactly means. However, I'll try to help you. First of all, why are you downloading 3 ISO images? Secondly, you'll need to torrent the game and not an image if you want to play it on a PC. Lastly, you'll want to find a "No-CD crack" of the game, and it should come with instructions on how to install and what not. The rest you'll just have to figure out and learn, because learning is a part of life. If in doubt, Google it.
