I have been instructed to burn an ISO file to a CD. This is a crucial matter for me. This concerns data recovery. R-Studio is a software program that is designed to retrieve data from a damaged hard-drive.
My issue is that I am able to create the ISO file as RStudio instructs, but it is to be burned to a CD, which is supposedly a zipped file format and when burned to a CD, expands the file to file, which are necessary to boot my machine.
When I have burned the file to a CD, it only copies the ISO file as a single file, not extracting the files as it burns. I am told this is mandatory.
Can anyone assist in the procedure to expand the file as it burns, what program w/in Nero and what settings are required?

    Graciously,

    Doug

Best way to burn the way you are wanting DougStrou is to right click on the iso file then select Open With > and select Nero. From there just selct the the speed you wan to burn at and thats you.

Failing that, you can open Nero. Sect File > Open. Select the iso file.
