i have a movie in a bin and cue format and i was wondering how would i burn the files onto a cd or dvd disk so that it would be able to be played on a home dvd player i know how to play it on my computer but i want to play the movie on a home dvd player btw bin file is 779mb so i'm assuming i have to use a dvd disk since i have no 800mb disk and cue is 191 bytes any help at all will be appreciated
Hi there, Because it's in a .bin/.cue format, I assume this is a VCD/SVCD video format. You can use VSO CopyToDVD or Nero Burning ROM to burn this image file to CD-R. Yes sometimes the image is larger than 700mb but it will fit on a 700mb CD-R Media, I guess there's just lots of info in there that doesn't make it to the media, but not sure why
I have nero startmart and it is able to burn images can i use this instead of nero rom to burn the cue and the movie btw is a kvcd
Be sure you uncheck any 'convert to standard' options in Nero, or it will convert a 800 MB KVCD file into a 1200 MB VCD file! Almost every DVD player can play KVCD... BTW, a 80' CD can fit 800 MB of VCD. It can cointain only 700 MB of [bold]DATA[/bold] (if you made a data CD with Nero), but on video and audio CD you can burn more stuff inside the CD-R. (have you ever read about '2048, 2336 or 2352 bytes/sectors'?)
oh nice it worked thanks a lot. i was also wondering is it possible to burn multiple images onto a cd or dvd disk. for example i want to burn a program that is in bin and cue format and also burn a movie that is in bin and cue format all onto one cd or dvd disk is this possible??? if yes how do i do it any help at all will be appreciated
