I can't burn my rip-files, which size are like 725-750 Mb, to cd becouse Nero doesn't recognize that the size of the empty cd is 800 Mb, and insists that "there's not enough space on cd". I have tried to change overburn settings and sizelimits but it still doesn't work. Does anyone know is there another program what I could use for this purpose? My burning drive is Lg cd-rw/dvd-combo, so I can't burn DVD's. Thanks!
where did u find 800mb cdr's???? i believe ur a bit confused with the 80min/700mb part... even with overburn enabled in nero i think u can only cram like 720mb on a cdr *** My bad... meritline.com lists 90min/800mb cdr's and on the same page it links to a compatibility list of current drives compatible with that media http://www.meritline.com/cdr-24x-90min-800mb-blank-disc.html
to OVERBURN a cdr , you must use the following options, write mode: DISK AT ONCE A standard CD PLAYER may have technical errors if you choose to create a CDR over the standard 700mb size YES Some CDR go over the 700mb size limit, i have currently found some 100min/900MB cdr in HONG KONG, brand is e-blue, i would njot recommend it though. brand website- www.e-blue.jp follow this thread; http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/129173
Thx for the link! Actually i can now overburn it, but only when I choose AUDIO CD burning. If DATA, still the same problem. So the device supports overburning, but.... Just wondering, is it because of Nero? Maybe someone managed to make such DATA CDs and could suggest another burning software. thx
