How to Burn movies????

    Ok how am I supposed to burn DVD's Kazaa. I currently have Nero and I have DVD+RW, now while I can copy DVD's using DVD copy express, I am unable to produce DVD's using the files from Kazaa. I have tried making VCD's but for some reason they do not work with my $69.00 DVD player. Would it make a difference if it was Super VCD? aside form this I am completely Lost
    all help would be appreciated
