Try reading pages 1 - 111 then if you can't find the answer, ask again. The answer will no doubt be on most pages as every newbie asks the same question without reading it first.

My drive will write the disc fine it just want play. i have read about Swap Magic, do i have to have that to read the copied games? one more thing once i get this going should the same method work for xbox?

You do need Swap Magic and the slide tool if you have the bulky PS2 or Swap Magic and the 3 small components for the slimline PS2. Swap Magic allows the PS2 to read a backup of your original game. It also allows you to play USA and Canada games. You might need another program which can be downloaded from a website called zoneloader, it's needed for the game Scarface. But most games should work without it.

I think you are supposed to only burn the ISO file.

Have you tried using Alcohol 120%? It works great, it's so easy to use.

It looks like you have an American game, I don't know what to suggest for those. I know how to do PAL.

I don't quite know. I only use original games to back up, I've not tried downloading them. I think other people migh be able to answer this when they come into the forum. Sorry I can't help.

1.DO you have a chip or Swap Magic

2.It doesnt matter if the game is PAL or NTSC, all those mean what type of televisions the game plays on, and can be forcibly changed if you have a chip or converted using PAL_2_NTSC

3.READ THE THREAD! Why are you making a data disk for a ps2 backup? If you read the thread you would know that a data DVD will not be recognized. Use the DVD Copy option in Nero or DCD Decrypter to burn the ISO.....that info is here, 110 pages worth.

uhm.... I downloaded a game from www.gamestorrents.com thinking it was an .iso file but when it was completed, there was just a folder full of RAR files and many isos inside them!!! How do I burn them? BTW, I downloaded Bleach: Blade Battlers.
