somewhere between 1-158, i do know that all the time that you have been waiting for someone to give you the answere you could have found it, you have to do your homework, i will tell you that im 90% sure that the post was by "svtstang", but it has been a while since i have gone that far back (that should be another clue). I highly recommend using an original instead of a dl.

    Hi
Hope someone can help, spent 1hr hunting back posts.
I have just backed up & burnt Thrilville using DVD Decrypter.
ISO file made, no problem & burnt no problem.
Burnt on DVD-R at 4X . Used Datawrite DVD (never a problem before)
When I put it in my chipped PS2 it just says put in a PS2 Disc.
Andy ideas what I can do different, or have done wrong.
Please don’t just say, look in the forum, I have, for over an hour and cannot find the answer to my question.
    Thanks in anticipation.

I want to make a legal backup of m original game, but so many people have recommended such great burners for me, that i do not know what to choose from. Should I use Dvd Decrypter, Imgburn, nero, or Alcohol 120. Does anyone know the difference between these applictions, i tried searching through the forum and could not find a direct answer to these questions.

They all burn iso's and all are good in the own right imho.
2 are paid programs and 2 are free (decrypter & ImgBurn).
ImgBurn is the updated burn engine of Decrypter and a very good burning program plus can't beat the price - free :)
    Give that one a go.

I am sorry to ask again since you have so graciously replied, but I also wanted to know the difference between these programs and Ripit4me. From what you told me before for backing up PS2 originals, I was going to try ImgBurn, since it is a upgrade of Dvd Decrypter, but isnt Ripit4me also a upgraded Dvd Decrypter that takes of the ARcoSS codes? So which would be better, you said that each would be good in their own sense. I am just trying to find a program that will bypass all the codes, and copy each file as identical as it possibly can be, so that i can produce a backup as good quality as possible and without glitches. So basically the program that will allow me to presrve as much of the original as possible.

    @sarathi
RipIt4Me is for movies only- are you trying to back those up also or are you just wanting to do games?

Oh I didnt know it was for movies only. I only want to back up PS2 games, but I thought Ripit4me would work since it burns DVD's and PS2 games use DVDs. Also what is this ArcOss code that Ripit4me is known to take off, is it on PS2 games. I was told by a friend that PS2 does not have as much protection as a regular DVD, well, can you tell me if it uses any protection and if so which? If Dvd decrypter is used to burn PS2 games and Ripit4me uses Dvd decrypter cant they both be used for the same purpose?

RipItMe doesn't burn per se - it's just a program that 'brings' like 3 apps together. The burning is actually done w/ Nero, ImgBurn or Decrypter. But again it's only for movies and some movies have the ARccOS protection on them.
Decrypter does the games like PR0BLEMS posted.

you might need to update your firmware for your burner drive, or you might have a bad original, try a different game, if it keeps happening you might need to reinstall dvd decrypter, by the why what game is giving you trouble

I can't even believe this thread has gotten this long, and you should have just done a forum search for memor32 and you would have found some threads started already.
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/608034#3672243
In this link there is a compatibility list started and a link to a post on maxconsole.com about the memor32.
What firmware are you using and what backup isn't working for you?

How to Copy a PS2 game if you live in the UK.
Well here goes. First read 'hiredgoon' contribution towards the top of this post. This will copy and burn your PS2 game. But, in order to play it you don't need a modchip, you can use a'ps2 boot disc' this fools the PS2 console into thinking that the backup game is an original PS2 game. You need a 'Swap Magic v3.6 plus a Slimtool mk2. All available from techwizad.com
    Hope this helps!
