   I have lots of concerts and live performances on vhs and I want to know what I need hardware and program wise to convert the audio from the vhs to my computer so i can edit them and then burn them to a cd.

   Any soundcard with a LineIn should suit your purposes. Just grab an RCA-->3.5mm convertor from a local electronics store.
