How to change driver's "name"?

    Initailly, my harddisc drives is C: D: F:, but after i use a programme called "vitual cd hide", my F: drive change its "name" become E: drive. Then all of my shortcut, system and etc cant function. moreover some of programme cannot be uninstall because the change of directory. can any1 tell me how to change the driver's "name" back to F: ???

    If you are running an NT based version of windows then you can do it using disk management in admin tools. For 9x/ME, I can't remember.

    follow these directions;

    start/right click on my computer/manage/disk management/right click on the drive you want to rename/and select change drive letter and paths...

    Now choose a letter you want to change it to from the drop down box.

    *DAMN TYPOS!
