how to change ram files to rm

    please i need help, first i use real player to burn cds, but sometimes when i try to burn songs it gives me a message that the songs can't be burned because they are ram files and i have to change them to rm files. i don't know how to change them so please if anybody can help me in finding out the way to change them

    Files with a .ram extension are supposed to be metafiles. Small 1KB, 2KB, etc. text files with a .ram extension that tells the player the location of the audio or video file and how to play it.

    These files cannot be converted. Open these small .ram metafiles with a text editor like Notepad and find the loction of the file. If the file has an Internet location you will need to use streaming media recording to download the audio or video file to your computer before you can burn it to a disc.

    Some actual audio or video files can get the wrong .ram extension. These will be much larger files and are not metafiles. In such a case then you just need to rename the file with the correct extension, .ra for audio files and .rm for video files.
