My son was playing my xbox, and decided he wanted to switch games. But before doing so, he decided he would fine tune some of my settings. Now all I have is a rolling screen. My question is how do I switch it back since I can't see what i'm doing? I am running the latest version of xbmc if that can help out any. Thanks in advance.

Well there's two things he could have done. He could have enabled hd tv settings on your xbox, and if you don't have a hd tv you will have a rolling screen. Load the MS dash and change the settings back to sd from hd.

Also in xbmc if you go to settings you should be able to see display and you can change the region.

    Reboot your xbox
Press down 5 times then A to get to the settings menu
Press right 4 times and down once then A to get to display
Press down 1 time and right one time and press A to change the region setting.

I think after you change that you have to press B to back out to the previous screen and then reboot your xbox. If it's still the same try the next option.

Or somehow he changed it to PAL

You need to use egnima video swticher, i loaded it to my box off the aid cd and snagged it off there and uploaded it for you.

Download these files, it probably needs to be burned on a dvd but you can try a cdr. Make sure the default.xbe and the media folder are the only things you see on the cd when you open the disc. Do not just throw the folder to the cd. XBMC will see the default.xbe file and will load this screen.

Press B and it should reset to ntsc. It should all work again unless it's already in NTSC.

Let me know how it goes

I couldn't get the first method to work all it did was load the credit screen I believe, and I burnt the files to cd and dvd but neither one worked. So I got another copy of it off the internet and it worked perfect. But I really appreaciate all of the work you went through to help me out thanks alot.
