how to change the display setting on the ps3

    i've got a ps3 that set on 1080p but my tv has broke so i try to put on the other tv what only 720p and it says out of range i've tried the hdmi and the scart lead as well is their a way to reset the setting without seeing it on your tv?

    Turn the system off, then hold the power button or symbol...keep holding it until you hear at least two beeps or you see a picture on the screen. If it does not work the first time, shut down and repeat, holding the button longer.
