    Hello All.

I have read that you can physically check the DVD to see if it has been
burned or not, but in my case I cannot tell. The media appears to be blank. Is there any freeware utility that check and tell me whether its blank or not. When placed in a DVD-ROM on a computer running Windows XP Windows does not present a small window asking if I would like to burn files to this media amongst other options.

    Thanks in advance

    Victor

Run imgburn, which will provide detailed information on the status of the disc.

Thanks dailun imgBurn does the trick. All you need to do is insert a
media and it can tell if you its empty or complete (meaning already burned).

    Victor.
