Because Shrink errored out trying to encode it (Is It True What They Say About Ann?), I saved the 2 main "movies" in Shrinkas 2 separate files. No menues. Then I made a copy of each onto DVD RWs, which worked fine. Now I'd like to combine these 2 onto a single DVD. Any suggestions re a step by step way(s) to do this? Thanks, M8
Use DVD Shrink and use the Re-author option. Just navigate to wherever the files are on your HDD and drag and drop. You can drag as many files as you can fit onto your DVD.
When I follow your advice, Shrink will accept the main movie(37 min) @ 4068 MB, but when I drag/drop the 2nd @ 3312 MB onto the same screen, the first & main one dissappears. What am I doing wrong?
Here is a guide on joining two movies or episodes together. http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/Making a episode DVD with DVD Shrink.pdf
I just did this for a 8 old war classic movies for my father. Just as a precautionary measure, I ripped all of them onto the harddrive. Then I opened up Shrink, reauthored, navigated to where the files were, added the main titles, and burned like i normally would. Maybe the first one is disappearing because you are doing this on the fly, and you haven't ripped it to the harddrive?
I had to do this with my copy of GoodFellas, because I was just sick of having to stop the movie just so I could turn the disc over. I ripped both sides to my HD, and then just used DVD Shrink in 'Re-author' mode...so it should work the same with two different movies...
