Hi! I just joined! I'm a composer who's done some work on a documentary. And I asked the director to give me a DVD with the final cut. She did but in the DVD there are two files: One named film.m2v (I think), and another named film.wav (the audio file). When I try to play the DVD in my DVD player there is no sound. I guess this is because there has to be a vob file in there. Does anybody know with which program I can combine these two to create a single vob file, and anything else needed in order for the DVD to play? Further because it is rather smallish (around 10 minutes), this can probably fit into a CD, won't it? I mean the whole video file with the audio file both are bellow 700 Mb. It is the same process as with DVD creation? Thank you in advance. You help is much needed. Sideris
use a program called TMPGEnc and use multiplex option, select your output and burn back to dvd, you have your audio... download a guide if you want to perform this quickly or pm me or another member for further help (a guide would be created for you)
try this one: i think its the one you were looking for phantom69: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/advanced_tmpgenc_guide.cfm
Thank you guys! I think I'm on my way. At least I created a SVCD (cause it is rather small duratio wise about 10 minutes). Anyway the CD works on my DVD player (plugged in my TV and not the computer one), so I think I'm happy with that. I will keep on searching if I can do it better, and actually if I can do it with worst quality so I will be able to upload it in the internet. Again thank you very very much for your help. Sideris
