I plan on ripping using dvd decrypter or dvdshrink, either one.
After i have ripped them and i am stuck with this huge 4gb folder

HOW DO I COMPRESS IT TO 700MB OR LOWER WITH GOOD QUALITY?, WHAT PROGRAM?

I DONT WANNA USE AUTOGK, OR HANDBRAKE. I JUST WANT TO RIP IT, THEN COMPRESS IT.
I HEARD YOU CAN USE DVDSHRINK TO COMPRESS IT, BUT I HAVE NO CLUE HOW. PLEASE HELP!

Those are 2 diametrically opposing situations. Compression (unless lossless) leads to data degredation. If you need to compress to that extent, you may need to consider h264 codec (i do not know much about h264 except that that is a high efficency codec with excellent data quality)

Rip with either DvdFab HD Decrypter (free) or with anydvd (21-day trial/payware) as those 2 are the most updated programs to rip movies.

DvdFab does have a payware version that can compress a movie down to 700MB with still decent quality.

As of other programs besides autogk or handbrake, I don't know, as I've only used dvdfab and autogk to compress my movies down to that size.
