    hello guys

first of all thx for any info

I want to share, in a guitar forum a, .vob file that my video camera produces
this video is 20mb, i think it´s not really heavy but some folks in the guitar forum are having trouble with the download (it takes too much time, for this members)
what program will be great to reduce the size of the file without losing too much quality?
or if i have to convert it to another format what will be the best?

    Many thanks for any info
    bye

An XviD avi with mp3 audio should give you a decent filesize with decent compatibility. You could go smaller using say he aac or vorbis audio, x264 video and mkv as a container, but you lose out on compatibility. You might want to consider keeping the audio though since presumably it is more important than the video? Guess it depends if it is mp2, AC3 or LPCM.
