How to connect from a VCR to a Digital camcorder?

    My camera operation guide says that this camcorder-Sony Digital8 TRV265E can record pictures from a VCR ok, but if my VCR has only Euro Scart or RCAs(Yellow,White,Red) connectors and the camcorder has only A/V out, DV interface, S-video out, USB jack I don't know how?
    Or the camcorder must have a A/V analog input or there must be a RCA to DVi cable that I was unable to find searching with google or the camcorder lies.
