Ok, well a lot of HD TV's have a VGA input that would let you connect your PC to it, aswell as your playstation.

What size screen are you wanting? you can pick up a good 19" TV for about £200 if you search around.

You would also need a HDMI cable, which you can get from ebay for less than £5. There is no need to buy a more expensive one, as they all do the same quality signal.

I bought this about a year ago:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014139

It's a deactivated item now, but there are similar monitors you can get. Mine has an input button on the side to switch from DVI to HDMI. With a press of that button, I switch from my PC input to my PS3 input. When you search for "LCD monitor HDMI" in the Newegg search box, a bunch will come up.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...cription=LCD monitor HDMI&bop=And&Order=PRICE

My monitor did not have speakers built in, so I had to change the PS3 audio output from HDMI and use the standard AV cable that came with the PS3 to connect to an extra pair of Bose PC speakers I had. I agree about the HDMI cable. You can get them for under $10.

Hey guys, thanks so much for the speedy responses.
So would it be best to buy a hdcp tv with vga//hdmi slots?
It just seems like theres so many options and i dont want to end up buying something then having to return it and pay a restocking fee.

Im looking for a 20 inch or so screen.

Can anyone let me know what brand, model they have that is still in production?

If you're looking for a screen that size i'd get a 22" hdcp monitor, that has a dvi input and a vga input. Run the vga cord to the pc and get a dvi to hdmi cord (or a hdmi cord and a dvi adaptor like I had to do) and hook the Ps3 to the dvi port.

So you are telling me to get a monitor, not a "television"
Any suggestions where to get the cords needed, beyond Ebay?
