i m having mp4 video which is having 6 channels mono audio i want to convert it into 2 channel stereo. i tried on audacity but some synchronization & sound high-low problem occurs in video, pls can you provide me appropriate solution for this problem with entire demo (process) in audacity. thank you
Audacity settings:Edit > Preferences > Import/Export > check 'Use custom mix'. Adjust the gain setting per channel (-6,-6,-9,-9,-6,-6). Export and set the number of channels to two. Join the lines to the boxes thus: Highlight a source box then click on the destination (click anywhere on an empty space to stop connecting boxes).. The idea is that the two left sources go to the left out. Two right sources to the right out. Centre and lfe go to both. Test by only selecting a small part and exporting. If the dialog is too low, adjust the center channel, export and check. Good luck.
i done it, but somewhere in video unsynchronization of audio occurs. can you suggest me anything appropriate procedure so that unsynchronization problem doesn't occurr. does 6 channel audio (VIDEO) can be played on normal dvd players, so that i will make dvd of it atleast. thank you
i downloaded from torrent. it is mp4. actually i want to make a dvd of it by using convertx to dvd software, i want to know after making its dvd which is having 6 channel audio will be able to played on normal dvd players.
If the DVD player has optical, co-ax or HDMI connectors you get six channels out. If it has the basic L/R audio connectors, you get stereo.
Thank you, that means let the videos be of any audio channels in it, but it can be played on normal dvd players.6 channels, 5.1 channel, stereo etc. are but gives additional surrond sound. right??
one last question how to increase its audio sound in audacity, i mean as it has 6 mono audio graphs where do i need to make settings for increasing its overall sound. Do i need to keep desired volume level at all audio graphs or there are some different settings to increase overall balanced volume?????
can you pls tell me one simple thing, does normal dvd players can play the video which is HAVING 6 channel audios in it ?????? suppose i m having 6channels audios video, i m making dvd of it, and my dvd player having only 2 normal speakers. so, can i play that dvd which i hv made??? In nutshell, can normal (general) dvd player or system can play this type of dvd's??
hi, i tried this solution ie. to convert 6 channel into stereo but somewhere in video unsynchronization of audio occurs. can you suggest me anything appropriate and best procedure so that unsynchronization problem doesn't occurr. i downloaded that videos from torrent its in MKV format.
Are you dealing with one particular video or multiple videos? If you open the original audio and new audio in Audacity at the same time, are you saying that during playback they are out of sync with each other?
i m telling about a movie i hv downloaded, it has 6 channel audio. on making such settings somewhere in that movie unsynchronization in audio occurs. can u explain [Test by only selecting a small part and exporting. If the dialog is too low, adjust the center channel, export and check.]
how to increase 6 channel audio volume by using audacity. can you elucidate above given solution by picturising it coz i dont find solution in it or u cn say tht i didnt understnd to operate audacity. is thr any good sftwr than audacity
You probably need a mixer designed to combine 6 into 2. They are fairly expensive so I figure if there is an easy, cheap way to combine tracks who would buy the mixers.
it means remove a section of the audio out from the Main Audio stream,as an example it can be the beginning which lets call it 0 through to say 15,so now lets make those numbers in minutes it now becomes a section of audio that starts at 0 minutes & finishes in 15 minutes, you now have a smaller section of audio. removing a smaller portion of the audio makes it easier & faster to get the desired effect your after & once your satisfied you can then make the necessary changes to the main audio stream that you originally removed it from, this doesn't mean you have 15mins of audio missing from the original audio stream it will still be fully intact, all you've done is made a piece of audio to test
