here is my problem I have a DVD player that plays PAL DVDs as long as they are region free or region 0. but I have a few dvds that are region 2. so it won't play those dvds.
I read that you can get rid of the regions using DVD decrypter I'm familiar with that program in fact I use it all the time but how do you get rid of the regions or change the region? where do I go to do that?

Thanks a lot for your help

IIRC DVD Decrypter sort of does this by default.

If you go to Tool -> Settings -> General there is a checkbox option for removing Macrovision and menu for specifying the RPC (region protection) of your drive.

On the File Mode tab, you'll see a bunch of checkbox options on the lower right. They should all be checked by default IIRC.

On the ISO Read Mode tab, there checkbox options on the left. These are all likely checked as well or should be with the exception of Remove Structural Protection which may or may not be depending on the need.

If you have any nasty copy protection on the disk you may need AnyDVD or DVDFab Decrypter to overcome that. AnyDVD makes any DVD region free as well I believe.

I believe if you use DVD Fab Decrypter you can get rid of region codes. Use DVD Fab Decrypter2.9.7.7, that should work. You can get it at http://dvdidle.com/free.htm, use the free version.
