how to convert flv files to files that can burn to disc and play on DVD player?

    I would like to dl some kids songs video from youtube but how to convert the flv files, so that it can be burned to disc and play on DVD player? what are the extension files that actully can play on DVD player? Any free converter to do so?

    I have used real player to download flv and convert to dvd
