I've searched for the past hour but can't find anything that will let me convert a sound file to CDDA (Audio CD) format without actually burning a CD.

I'm trying to add custom music to some older Playstation 1 games. These games saved the soundtracks in CDDA format. Rage Racer, for example, has a CDDA folder in the root directory that includes many *.DA files. It's a mixed-mode CD.

I'm thinking that if I can convert some MP3's to .DA format, and then rename them the same filenames that are used in RageRacer, it might work.

    Any ideas?

Can you setup like you are burning a CD but instead of your burner have it burn to a virtual drive to make a disc image instead? Then just rip the CDDA files from the image?
