How to copy a 2 disc DVD to 8.5 dl disc?

    Can anyone please tell me which is the easiest program to use to backup a two disc DVD movie "The Gangs of New York" to a single 8.5 disc,or a link to a help guide?

    Rip both, compress both, then burn.

    If you want a menu use a dvd author to burn to a disc.

    Hmmm,..so rip both? compress both? then burn?,...so then all I have to do is just click the easy button after that ?

    Sorry I can't help, but your question is a similar one i've always had so i'm interested in the response as well.

    "Rip", copy all the files on that disc to you HDD, both disc to your HD using Shrink. Then after you've ripped both disc you go to Shrink again byut this time do this:

    In Shrink go to Edit>Preferences>first tab>scroll down in box until you get to DVD9.

    In shrink go to re-author and this guide will take you from there:
