How to copy a DVD?

    not sure if I am even in the correct place here..
    I downloaded a program from here last year and with it I was able to make copies of my DVD's well my computer died and I lost all the info on it.. now I have read and read and for the life of me I can not find that really cool program. Can someone point me in the correct direction? or tell me where I can find a program that will copy a DVD? Thanks for ANY HELP!!!

    Well I'm sure you will get a lot of info about this what I use is ANYDVD it runs in the background so your PC can't find the blocks you know they try to stop you from doing this 24/7 then I use DVDSHRINK to rip it to my hard drive then I use DVDDECRYPTER to burn it to a 4.7 VERBATIM DVDR- 16x disc at 4x speed oh yea you should be in newbie forum .But thats ok you here now .

    thanks for your reply... the old program I had I installed the movie on the computer then it just make a copy of it to the DVD.. I will see if I can figure out your way.. thanks again.........

    Check out the Guides on afterdawn they cover it all their are many different ways to do this !
