Reckless > For me, I have to patch most my online games to even get them to even boot up. And most times if they aren't patched then it causes fatel fault errors and messes up the game play.

So I would say even tho you don't have online capability, It's best to patch it to save you the WASTED DVD.

CarAudio > You can find most of them here.

Trying to burn MX VS ATV Unleashed. I used MagicISO to create the .iso file then patched it. Then I burnt it on a Maxell 8x 4.7G DVD+R. I put im my Swap Magic 3.6 DVD Rom and then use the slide card to put the burnt game in. It goes to the loading screen and sits there. Same thing happens with Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition.

Hey serranoX3 the method you posted how to patch games to play online works right? I followed those directions, and patched killzone. Now I am just waiting for my Swap Magic to come to test it out.

I used DVD Decrypter to burn MX vs ATV. The frist one I burned at 4x speed and the 2nd I burned at 1x speed.

Both back-up's work but load VERY slow.. like about 10 to 15 min fore each race.

I use Swap Magic 3.3 to load them

Maybe that is what is wrong. I havent waited that long for it to load. Does yours take forever to load when it first starts. like when the gear is in the bottom left and it says loading?

No. I did not play the game online. I just wanted to let you know that I also am having some problems with the back-up copy.

Maybe someone els also have the same problem and found a fix.

I've made other copys of other games the same way and they all play fine.

Has anyone had success copying up a game with dvd decrypter. Patching it with imgage patcher. Then burning it with dvd decrypter. Than use it successfully online with swap magic? I'm waiting for my swap magic in the mail so I can't test yet. When I do get it I won't be wasting time I'll be at everything testing all methods.

I backed up my version of MX vs ATV and the load times went to normal. I used this method.

    Step 1.
Decrypt the ps2 game to your hard drive using dvd decryptor.

    Step 2.
Open up Isobuster and load in the image file.

    Step 3.
Hold shift and highlight all the game files and put them in a folder.

    Step 4.
Open up Nero burning rom and create a new UDF/ISO dvd (It's the last one in the list). Drop all the game files into Nero in the same order as it is listed in Isobuster. Just keep Isobuster open as a reference when you do this. Nero will change the order of the files graphically, however they burn in the order that you dropped them in.

    Step 5.
Name the image and burn it at 2.4x.

    Step 6.
Presto, you've rebuilt and burned a PS2 game. Play it.

And you need to have the full version of nero not the OEM Suite that would come with a DVD/CD-RW. If you dont have it i was able to find it using Bitlord

I've read http://www.ps2nfo.com/on-line.html, but I have a problem, the applications are Pc, and I have a OsX Macintosh.
Any one knows a process for this operating system?

dnas will not make u games work normally, only online....

its like the cd-key for a pc game, say half-life... fake ones will install it, but u need a proper key to play

no patching is like a fake cd key, patching is like getting a cd key...

also if ur dvds aint working well it may be your media, i found my MK:deadly alliance takes about 10 minutes to load a battle (so i stopped playing it). this was the media it was on....nuttin to do with DNA$

when ever i try and play my backed up copy of socom 2 online it cannot get passed the DNAS, even though i have patched it. it says that i have a mod chip running. is there anyway that i can get passed this while having my modchip running (obviously i need it running to start the backed up game in the first place)
