i would like to get a tutorial on how to create a windows 2000 boot CD, not floppy. I have tried searching on the net but they keep on assuming that i am an expert in computers and understand all the fancy terminologies. Can someone please instruct me or tell me of a link that i can find a basic tutorial. i have tried creating the boot floppy's but my computer won't boot from it Thanks in advance
Assuming you own the original windows 2000 cd, you already have a bootable cd. You may have to enter your BIOS screen at start up ( usualy hitting the DEL key) to make your cd/dvd rom a higher boot priority than the hard drive. Put the cd in the drive and then restarting the machine will then allow the computer to boot from the disk.
