I always use VCDEASY. Its a little complicated to use at first but I think once you use it you will never use anything else. Find it at VCDEASY.ORG. It used to be free but know its like $20 or something. Worth every penny. You can make all kinds of menus, create images to MPEG for use as title screens etc. NERO is crap for menus. I create my BIN file using VCDEASY and then burn with NERO.

Just a bit of advice, drop the whole menu idea when you are making VCD or SVCD, they cause more problems than anything else!

cause in some players they work, others they dont, i find also when u are pointing out chapters in a menu, it sends the sound out of sync when u skip to it etc etc, trust me, i made a lot of vcd/svcd and i reckon they are a waste of time!

I would have to agree with Dela. Although I use VCDEasy a lot I do not create many menus with it. I do like to put a title screen in sometimes though. I guess that is a menu option of some sort. But I find it easier for creating chapters or pasting the chapter information out of Smartripper. Plus it verifies you MPEG file also. I also find that NERO complains too much! I file that NERO complains about works fine in VCDEasy and I would believe that software before I believe NERO.

VCDEasy is a great program aint it? and aswell, id like to say, I also like to put the cover of the movie (like the dvd cover) as the title just for 5 seconds, thats done with VCDXBuild and a "change cd" pic at the end of the cd! that doest cause any problems for me at all :)
