My Sony DVD player says it will play VCDs. My PC has a CD-RW & I have some videos but I don't know how to make VCDs from them. Is it a complicated process? Can someone tell me the simplest way to make one? I'd greatly appreciate it!

PS:If you need to know - I'm running Windows ME on a PC with an 900 Mhz Athlon AMD & have a 56k modem. Thanks in advance....

are you trying to create a vcd from a divx movie(avi),if you are can you view the file using windows media player? download tmpgenc and try it for yourself load the video after you start tmpgenc if it works you let it encode the video then burn it as a vcd with nero.......

    Thanks Jolo!
The article you sent me at VCDhelp really did the trick. I didn't know anything about the framerates & how to find out what the fps was of my videos.

I still have a few videos that are 30 fps & I need to know how to change the framerates of those video's so I can convert them too.

Any advice would be appreciated & thanks again
