Windows Movie Maker , Microsoft Photo Story 3, Goole Picasa are all free software which can only do the basic function. If you want to get more stunning slideshows, suggest you to try some more software.

I used Nero and I was very disappointed when it came to saving it onto a CD or DVD. The only way you could do that was if you PAID Nero $20+postage for them to save onto their CD/DVD. Also you were restricted to using their very useless (in my opinion) limited music files.

In all fairness this may not be true with Nero Deluxe 4 package. I'd check and very caefully. The literature I received from Nero said it could be saved to a DVD...they negleced to say whose and at what cost.

Getting back to WMM can anyone tell me why when I save a project and then close and open it a later time many of what were photos now appear as big X's. This has happened repeatly so now I do my projects at one sitting...which can be exhausting.

A hint to WMM newbies: Place all the photos and files (copies of course) you plan to use in one folder before you begin WMM.
