i copied my home movies on to dvd with the dvd recorder on my tv from my camcorder now i would like to rip the dvd to the hdd and cut the movies up and paste all the videos of like vacations on one disc and birthdays on another disc and so on and so on. but how can i do this? i had to convert the vob to mpg and was able to cut the parts i wanted and put them in their own folders then went to nero and tried to burn a video dvd but said it wasnt a complient dvd structure or something. so what programs would you suggest i use to do this?
If you have them in mpg format, you then have to convert into dvd files before you can burn them again.
ok i cut the parts that i wanted and used convertxtodvd and worked but when playing the dvd on the tv the video jumps when there is a lot of movement in the screen. i burned at lowest speed but didnt help. is there anything to solve this. kinda think it is due to somany process i did to get it on the dvd.
Well check the movie during each step before proceding to the next. Also when coding/encoding stop any background programs, like antivirus and such. Sometimes the choice of media may cause a problem.
