I'm trying to edit some mps that i want to burn onto a cd using nero...i have several songs that i want to cut the first 10-15 seconds off of and get right to the song so it won't waste as much time...I'd also like to cut off the end of some songs as well...can i do this with nero before i burn the cd or will i need another program? Thanks.

You could use Nero WaveEditor to do what you want. You also might look at Nero SoundTrax to see if you might use it in your project, but I don't think it will edit a music file directly (uses WaveEditor).

Does Nero Wave Editor reduce the quality of the MP3 when it saves the changes that I edited from the track?

As far as I can tell, you will have to play with that. I have the MP3PRO enabled, so it might be different, but it shows up to 96 bit and 44.1 kHz. You are probably using a lot higher than that.
