Yes, you wiring is good, keep at it, youll get there eventually. It will just be a few bad blocks on your write. Keep dumping & injecting kv.bin (forget about config.bin for now)I had one like this and it taken me a good few writes to sort it.

That is one clean install! Kudos my man! I was gonna do the coupler as well but then decided not to since I don't use my cable anymore.

Quick youtube video of my jtag install for a 640gb WD notebook hard drive.
Did this for a friend who has no idea how to do this stuff.
You'll notice the board I made, as it is a perm for the box now. I sent him a cable to so I can have him hook it up and allow me to work it from my computer. He lives 3 states away.

I wasn;t sure if I was allowed to link a video...I looked in the forum rules and so no mention of it. If it needs to come down, I'll remove it.

I could be wrong in saying but 'NO' they are 2 different things you get the CB version from the .bin dump !
I found just to open it with 360 Flash tool and everything is as visible as day..... No need to convert numbers with a hex tool :p

hey there deluxe was typing "Nandpro20b\nandpro.exe lpt: -r16 nand1.bin" to start with then i tried orig.bin

although it doesnt really matter what i call file apparently,

anyhow i figured out what i had to do, i am using vista x64 and i had to run cmd as administrator, and used command that originally was using and it worked fine

I have figured all the steps through trial and error as there is not that much info on trouble shooting with nandpro(limited as oposed to flashing drives), i shall write a bit of a tut with errors and info i have collected and found out for others,

I do have a question though am i able to update my dashboard from pre nxe to nxe?

    Hate this old xbox setup,

i have rechecked connections and i am using nice short wires, 100ohm 1/2watt resistors,

try this use notepad and past this in there then save as a .bat file
on the first read click continue walk away and come back hours later and you should have 10 dumps do it several times if you must but eventually you should get identical bins.( also make sure your wiring is correct and solidly attached !!!!
    Hope this helps.

    Nandpro20b\nandpro.exe lpt: -r16 nand1.bin

    Nandpro20b\nandpro.exe lpt: -r16 nand2.bin

    Nandpro20b\nandpro.exe lpt: -r16 nand3.bin

    Nandpro20b\nandpro.exe lpt: -r16 nand4.bin

    Nandpro20b\nandpro.exe lpt: -r16 nand5.bin

    Nandpro20b\nandpro.exe lpt: -r16 nand6.bin

    Nandpro20b\nandpro.exe lpt: -r16 nand7.bin

    Nandpro20b\nandpro.exe lpt: -r16 nand8.bin

    Nandpro20b\nandpro.exe lpt: -r16 nand9.bin

    Nandpro20b\nandpro.exe lpt: -r16 nand10.bin
