yes so if you add the 2 lines together and type them into 360 flash tool you'll get your DVD key

No, no, no. That lpt diagram can be a little confusing for some. It shows those 2 ground points for reference only. You only have to use 1 of those 2. Your ground from the lpt, pin 18, gets soldered to either of those points.

Or yes, before someone else says it, you can use ANY ground point anywhere on the mobo/chassis. A ground is a ground... they're all connected.

Ill refer you to this picture that i went by, by uncrippling i mean restoring a banned xbox 360 in order to play backups again and receive achievments without corrupting your hdd over and over again. according to the diagram i used i match the colors on the motherboard to the lpt connector and mentions nothing about grounding any of the wires to the mobo itself, similar to the jtag but im not concerned about the 330ohm resists at the top left of the picture, just the J1D2 area and the J2B1 area
Not the same aXXo by the way ;)

edit: nevermind, i got my two matching nand reads, didnt have to ground any wires to the motherboard, thanks anyway.

I can't get the diode to slot into or solder onto db1f1.I have tried using a needle to make hole a bit bigger but no joy.

The way I do mine is with 1 small strand of copper wire, and then let solder drip down the wire and it will make a good contact, then snip off the remaining copper and solder your diode on to the blob of solder.

    cheers for that.
I will know for next time.
Ipushed down hard with a needle to make the hole a bit bigger although it is tricky to get that particular diode on.If I leave a pin in the slot and solder the diode to that will that work?

On the bottom of the mobo, the alt point for db1f1 is ft1u2. So if you mess up the db point, use the ft point.

Also, these are all alt jtag points.[IMG]

    Thanks for that.
I think I have meesed up.
I went off a tutorial on youtube, and I managed to solder all of the points other than that.
I will try the points that you have shown me.I had the other problem also which was when point 11 was connected I had the xbox turn off,but when I disconnnectd the 11th pin it was fine although it was not showing lpt connection through jtag tool 1.74.
Could I be doing something wrong?
