how to Downgrade psp 2.81 to 1.50

can someone plz tell me how to downgrade a black psp 2.81 to 1.50 so i can play homebrew app and isos i have gta.lc game if that helps. thankz

 

I really need help with this same exact question. I didn't know what I was doing and upgraded my black psp to a version 2.81, and now I don't know how to downgrade. I gave away my GTA, so I cannot use that method of downgrading to a 1.50

 

upgrade to 3.03 and then use the 3.03 downgrader to get to 1.50

 

If you have an 2.81 then there is no way to do it without gta.Upgrade to 3.03 and use gta to downgrade to 1.5.

 

how do i upgrade to 3.03 should i do a network update on my psp as i have wifi conection. or do i download and install 3.03 manuly?

 

No don't do a network update cause it cold update yor psp to the latest version which is 3.50.Just download the 3.03 update and place it in your memory stick and run it from there.

 

is there a guide on this? I looked around and I didnt see one that shows you step by step. I dont want to brick my psp

my pc is not working at the moment, it crashed therefore am useing my psp to go on the net via my wifi conection. can someone kindly give me the link to the 3.03 fw so i can download it direct to my psp, and then upgrade. thanks

 

i found the 3.03 update i put it in the update folder and run it from the games menu it restarted my psp and tryed to update but then it said currupted files with some error code can someone help

i downloaded the 3.03 update from that link placed it on the update folder like before psp restarts trys to update then says file curupted with error code. is there anyway of downloading the 3.03 update from psp site?

 

I think after you download the file you need to rename it to EBOOT.PBP if im not mistaken.It would be easier if you had an access to a pc cause its kind off hard to do this kind of stuff using your psp only.

 

am using my mates pc at the moment. i renamed it to EBOOT.PBP and transfered it to my memory card to /PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT but when i tryed to start on the psp games menu the psp would restart it trys to update then i get file currupted, i tryed deleting it and re downloading the 3.03 update few times and trying it stil dnt work. does anyone have another source for the 3.03 update?

where do i move the 3.03 update to on the psp's memory card

 

Just go here and download the PSP up and down all in one. Run this program on your computer with your psp connected to your pc...this will walk you through the whole process as well as download all programs/updates for you. Hope this helps:
