how to edit dvd and convert to audio files?

    I would like to edit a songs dvd (I only interested with a few songs in the dvd) and convert it to audio files to burn into CD for listening. May I know any freeware that can do it? Thanks

    Extract the audio, convert to WAV, edit with Audacity (free audio editor),
    save the bits you want, burn to CD.

    how to extract the audio and convert to wav? U mean all using audacity can be done?
