How to extract mp4 audio

    I am looking for a simple way to convert/extract audio from an mp4 video file. Tried ImTOO video 2 audio converter but it freezes.

    any way I can get this audio to an AC3 or PCM format?

    here try this codec pack, or atleast look at some of the features it includes to "beef up" VirualDub etc...says it adds support for .mp4 and DTS(ac3)..anyway..if it crashes your computer don't blame me..then again you won't be able to :) cheers!

    I think I just have a bogus file, no player will open it unless I rename it a avi/mpg and even then no encoder recognizes it. but the video IS there...strange. I hate codec packs they screw up eveything. All codecs suck!
