The sound in my FMVs of FF12 skip when I load it with HDLoader. I downloaded a FF12 ISO via a torrent and applied the patch to it so it works with HDLoader. I have been told to run the game with "mode 3" enabled. When I hit select I get this...

    Slow HDD access:
    Disable DVD9 support:
    Kill HDL after launch:
    Date/timefix 2:
    Date/timefix 3:
    Disable network support:
    Disable UAB patch:
    Soul Calibur 2:

I was told that "Kill HDL after launch" was mode 3 but when I make it say YES and hit select again then X and the game runs...the sound is still choppy...any ideas? I have HDLoader 0.7c. Thanks in advance for any help!

the patch doesnt fix the sound, and u did the mode 3 thing correctly, dont worry. all the fmv sequences will have choppy sound, there hasnt been a patch that i kno of that fixes that.

sadly, the ps2hd.com forums have been down for like 3 weeks now.. that's where you can get the latest patches and tutorials for hdloader and stuff. so try once in a while, and maybe someday they'll fix it.

if you have a toxicos modchip there is a cheat code that fixes the stutter, you hit r3 to enable it and l3 to disable cause if you leave it on after the fmv sequence it can sometimes lock up the game.

(HDL/ToxicOS support) <--- apparently a late version of HDL will work

    003B0034 00000000

that's what you type in, it MIGHT be a codebreaker code so if you have access to one give it a go but that is a big MIGHT.
