How To Fix Partition

    I had ubuntu dual boot install in my laptop,i delete ubuntu and the partition that had ubuntu.my problem is that when i load the windows xp my hard drive only shows that is a 15g hard disk,my hard disk is 60g.how can i change it back to normal.

    you just need to format the space were you had ubuntu. windows doesnt recondnize ext3. download hirens boot cd(google) and boot from that and use norton partition manager.

    I did that and the only option a get will destroy everithing i got in the hard disk.

    yes it will delete all the data from the linux partition but that is the point. if you need that data use this
    http://www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/
    copy the stuff you need then delete the linux partition and combine it with your c drive.

    linux is no longer in my hard drive,so i think that if i do a format
    it will delete my windows xp and thats something i dont want

    you are not formatting the entire drive. in norton p m delete all partitions except your windows partition. then select resize/move partition. then drag the slider to fill the entire hard drive. you should now be able to acces all of you hard drive. CATION do not move the front of the partiton, just the back end. if you do you will not be able to boot back into windows.
